Infinity Gives

Our Approach

Values become useful when they become criteria.

Before opportunities arrive, we decide how we will look at them — together with partners. Infinity Gives is being built as an operating institution: partner-led, measurable, and selective.

How work begins

Five tests for a first initiative.

01

Real need

A community or partner has named the problem. We start from that, together.

02

Mission fit

The work clearly serves housing and community development, climate resilience, or innovation for impact.

03

Partner-led

We work alongside an experienced organization that knows how to execute.

04

Measurable

With partners, we define success before work begins — and we share whether it happened.

05

Replicable

What we learn together should be useful in more than one place.

The initiative filter

Every potential initiative has to answer these questions.

This is how we choose carefully with people close to the work. Alignment is an invitation to look more closely — not an automatic yes.

  1. 01 Mission alignment

    Which pillar does this serve?

  2. 02 Need

What demonstrated problem are we addressing?

  3. 03 Community voice

    Who says this is needed?

  4. 04 Partner quality

Who actually knows how to execute this?

  5. 05 Additionality

What do we add, alongside partners?

  6. 06 Impact

    What changes if we participate?

  7. 07 Measurement

    How will we know?

  8. 08 Replicability

Could the model inform work elsewhere?

  9. 09 Ethical risk

Does this keep the mission intact for everyone at the table?

  10. 10 Resources

What money, time, people, and expertise does this require?

How we stay ourselves

We work with companies, developers, foundations, governments, and nonprofits. Criteria that exist before a relationship is convenient are how everyone in the room stays clear.

Together we ask what Infinity Gives uniquely adds. Who named the need. Whether the mission stays intact. We define success before we begin, and we share whether it happened.

Partner-led means the people who know how to execute are responsible for execution. Infinity Gives is responsible for whether its contribution was real — and for learning that can travel.

Impact and learning

The rigor should match the claim.

If we say fifty homes were supported, we count fifty homes. If we say opportunity changed, we need a stronger way of knowing. Not every initiative needs a clinical trial. Every initiative needs evidence equal to what we claim.

How we measure→

Start with a need that already exists.

If you can speak to the filter — or would like to look at it together — we would welcome a conversation. We are at our best with a clear need and a capable partner.
